Etiquette de Manille honors Maharlika Women

On Juggling Roles & Responsibilities: Time Management is the key. I survive my hectic days by keeping a “To Do” list. The page is split into 2 boxes. The upper box is for work, while the bottom box is for personal matters. I’m almost always excited to cross out the entries. Plus, I’m a stern believer in the saying, “What isn’t written, doesn’t get done.” This works for me all the time.

Inside-and-out Beauty Secrets : I keep a gratitude journal. It helps me appreciate the big & small blessing that come my way. I refrain from all things negative (i.e. situations, people, news and thoughts). I noticed how quickly I feel drained by them. So I really, seriously, avoid them.

As a Maharlika: I love watercolour painting. I stopped for more than 10 years, but when I picked up my brushes again last year, I gained back the peace, inner balance, that lost-in-my-own-world feeling—all the great fruits of “alone time.”
